The On-Screen Display (OSD) on your ViewSonic VA912b computer monitor has a feature that allows you to lock it. This gives users the security they need when leaving the monitor unattended. When the screen is locked, nobody will be able to see the screen unless they have the passcode. You don't have to take your screen to a ViewSonic retailer to get the screen unlocked. You can do it yourself with little hassle.
1). Press down and hold the "1" button on the front panel of the ViewSonic monitor.
2). Press down and hold the "Up" button on the front panel of the monitor.
3). Hold both of these keys down for around 10 seconds until you see "OSD Unlocked" on the screen.
